If this 24-fret beast is the new "Standard", consider the bar raised! A solid mahogany body gets the conversation started. Used in countless guitars over the last 70 years, mahogany has long been the tonewood to pair with a pair of humbuckers.
The neck is also made from mahogany and is carved to the Pattern Thin profile. A rosewood fingerboard carries a 10" radius. The depth at the 1st fret is 53/64", the scale length is 25", and the nut width is 1 and 11/16". This neck features a satin finish on it which seems to feel best to the majority of players. It's dry, fast, and never tacky or sticky.
A pair of 58/15 S Humbuckers come equipped in the S2 Standard 24. These pickups provide a medium level of output. The controls include a master volume, master tone with coil-tapping via a push/pull potentiometer, and a 3-way pickup selector switch.
