2008 Rock & Roll Boot Camp Summer Session for Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards and Vocals.
The concept here is pretty simple: get kids between the ages of 10-17 together in bands. Participants will spend1 1/2 hour per day, Monday - Friday, for 2 weeks, learning songs and all the skills necessary to play in or lead a band. Participants who are already in a band are encouraged to bring their group with them so they can learn together. Participants who are not in a band will be grouped with other students based on age and ability. The students will be supervised and rehearsed by one of our instructors with years of band experience. At the end of the camp the band will spend one session recording the songs they have learned. They will be given a copy of their demo to do with it as they please. This is a great introduction to the hard work it takes to put a project together.
