Fender Custom Shop 1960 Hardtail Relic in Black

SN# R40152 Here is an interesting piece. It's a Hardtail which blurs the line between Strat and Tele, tonewise. The back of the guitar hasn't been routed for a trem, which leaves a bit more wood to help generate the tones. This one has Clapton electronics (noiseless pickups, tied to TBX and Mid Boost to go from Strat to 335 sounds!). The circuit is battery powered, hence the battery compartment on the back. It also has Sperzel Locking tuners, a Soft V neck profile with 9.5 radius and 6105 frets. The body is made of light Ash wish helps it weigh in at 7lbs 6oz. This is a fun guitar to rip around on. It can scream like crazy or rolled off it can be quite Straty. The specs make it a great player. Comes with its Certificate of Authenticity, Original Case, Case candy and set up to your specs.
