David Brown is a relatively new Masterbuilder but that doesn't mean he isn't already building killer guitars. This Tele Relic shows off his skills perfectly!

The neck is made from AAA Flamed Roasted Maple and it is carved to a large C Profile. The 1st ret depth measures .875" and the 12th fret depth is .95". It is a full-feeling neck but not overly full like a Nocaster U can feel. A 9.5" fingerboard radius and 6150 frets combine for a smooth, fast-feeling fingerboard. A 1.65" nut width and 25.5" scale length provide a familiar Fender feel.
Fender Custom Shop 56/57 Telecaster Pickups are installed in this electric guitar, with traditional controls of a master volume, master tone, and 3-way pickup selector. It has a classic, 50s Tele vibe with plenty of bark and bite in the bridge pickup and the typical, slightly more muted neck pickup tone. In the middle we get the perfect blend of both, with a more acoustic-like tone.
