Whoa Nelly! This guitar rocks. The combination of an ash body and the Fat 50's in the neck and middle positions and the 69 in the bridge makes for a very lively guitar. Sound just explodes no matter what amp I played this through and if you are looking for those Clapton tones from the Layla era this guitar is it. You have to stop in and try it out. From cool Ventures twang to Elvis Costello chord strumming this guitar has some great sounds. The neck is a custom neck that measures .820 at the 1st fret but .900 at the 12th. The radius is 9.5" and it has medium jumbo frets on a Madagascar Rosewood fretboard. Very comfortable and easy to play. If you are looking for something retro these Jazzmasters are it. SPECIAL INTERNET ONLY PRICE $2095! Built to Clapton's specifications these guitars are great sounding and playing. The noiseless pickups have a higher output giving this guitar not only great single coils sounds but also that Clapton woman tone when put through a higher gain amp. Does a great job of replicating all of Clapton's sounds over his career. The V neck is very easy to play and the vintage frets are very smooth and fast. Even if you are not a Clapton fan this is one great versatile guitar.
