This Fender Custom Shop Deluxe Stratocaster in Dakota Red is part of the 2010 Limited Collection. This is #30 in the series. Very cool tones but not a lot of quack in the 2 and 4 positions. A great sound Texas Special sits in the bridge position. Great for blues and rock. The neck and middle are a couple of great sounding 69 pickups that are a little bit on the brighter side. The great looking "A" maple 65 "C" neck is fast and easy to play. A great guitar for the money. Comes with original hard shell case, case candy and certificate of authenticity. This Fender Custom Shop 2010 LTD Roadshow Stratocaster Pro in Aged Cherry Burst is awesome. Featuring a great sounding set of Abby Handwound pickups. A Texas Special in the bridge position and 69's in the middle and neck position. Tons of clarity in all positions with a real nice biting tone in the bridge. Perfect guitar for the late sixties to mid seventies rock and blues. Comes with an S-1 switch that turns on both the bridge and neck pickup to give you a very cool warm, almost humbucker tone. This Fender Custom Shop 57 Stratocaster Relic is one great guitar. The neck on this guitar is a dream to play. The 1/4 sawn mid 60's oval "C" shaped neck has a 9.5" radius, 6105 frets and is very easy to play. Great for players who like to bend and play those fast repetitive blues and rock licks. Sound wise the 69' pickup in the bridge position has a nice punch perfect for that "Purple Haze" type of tone. The Fat 50's in the middle and neck are a little bit more subdued, a nice roundness without too much top end. The 2nd position (bridge and middle) has a ton of quack. Stop in and try out this baby. Comes with original hard shell case, case candy and certificate of authenticity.

First thing I noticed about this Fender Custom Shop 57 Stratocaster Relic was how easy it was to play. The soft "V" neck sits really well in my smaller hands and I was able to move up and down the neck without any problems. Sound wise this guitar is very resonant and has a lot of clarity in all positions. Nicely balanced tone with a nice mid-range. A really great guitar for the money. Stop in and try it out. The Abby hand wounds on this guitar tone is classic rock n roll. Very punchy and ballsy. Gave me a great James Gang / Joe Walsh "Funk 49" tone and that cool blues/rock Robin Trower / late Hendrix sound.
