I was a teenager in the 80's and all the rage at the time was rackmount equipment. All these cool effects by Korg, Alesis, Digitech, Eventide, ADA, etc... had me drooling. I could just imagine incredibly beautiful sonic landscape I could create put together a small rack system the size of a Honda Civic ( And I think it cost just as much!) After hauling this around for a couple of months I realized two things; no matter how much gear I had I still sucked and no fancy piece of digital equipment was going to help me and that if the rack fell on me it would probably kill me which is not the way I wanted to go out. Now that I am older I have seen the light and realize that all you need is a guitar and a good amp.

This Victoria 5112 doesn't get any simpler. Just a volume control, 5 watts of beautiful tube tone into a 12" Eminence speaker. For a low wattage amp it is very loud. Super warm and resonant this amp really brings out the tone of the guitar. The pine cabinet gives you a natural reverb that is dreamy. Pedals work extremely well with it, especially an over drive pedal.

If you are looking for a small for recording or practice and you want something that gives you a true tone stop in and try out this amp.
