With a little brighter but very full tone, the neck pickup sings with clean articulation and crackles with angry protest when pushed. Position 4 ranges from a mid-heavy Country / Blues tone to downright nasty crunch with a cutting bite. In the middle the tone becomes full, round and glowing (very nice to sit by with a glass of wine in the evening) and delivers excellent overdriven tones for Rock and Blues. Position 2 infuses more upper mids when you need to get popping while lending a wicked snarl when you poke it with some drive. The bridge is bright yet warm, full and firm – perfect for modern Country on into hard driving Rock.
