This PRS 25th Anniversary Swamp Ash Special Narrowfield in Scarlet Smokeburst smokes. I found the Narrowfield pickups to fall between single coil and P-90s. The bridge has a nice bite and sounded great on a slightly overdriven amp. Lots of sustain and clarity. The neck pickup is nice and smooth. The middle had the perfect middle ground, a little bite with a little smooth. The 2 and 4 positions has a nice round quack to them. The neck very easy to play and one of the nicest looking necks I have seen on a PRS. Comes with original hard shell case. We will re-string and set up to your specs for FREE. This very cool looking PRS 25th Anniversary Custom 24 in Sapphire Blue has an awesome Cocobolo headstock overlay. They only made 3 with this type of inlay. The sound is a great mixture of classic and modern tone. The 5 way rotary dial pickup selector gives you some great options. The bridge pickup is perfect for that Les Paul like tone. Not quite as thick and with a little more in the highs than a Les Paul Standard. The neck pickup is nice and smooth. Can get that great Santana lead tone. The middle is great for blues and rock with a nice bite. The 2 and 4 positions do a very nice job of giving you a "strat" like tone with no quack. The neck is one of the easiest necks to play and great for all style of players. Comes with original hard shell case.

This PRS Custom 22 Semi-hollow LTD in Smoke Amber is one great guitar. The 57/08 pickups give you a great smooth tone in all positions. Nice blues and classic rock bite in the bridge position. The neck is super smooth with a very cool jazz tone or overdriven it has a smokey lead tone. I found the tone much more focused than a Gibson ES-335. Very similar to an ES-359. The Tone is a Push / Pull that splits the pickups and give you a very nice round strat like tone. The neck is a real nice wide fat that has a little meat to it but is very easy to play. A great guitar that you have to check out. Comes with hard shell case.

The PRS 305 25th Anniversary in Smoked Amber is a modern take on the classic strat tone. The 305 single coils are much fuller sounding than a standard single coil. I find it leans closer to a P90 tone than a single coils tone. The bass is nice and full, the mids are are nice and clear and the highs have a real nice sparkle. Great tones for blues and rock with enough quack for country. The neck is a standard PRS neck that plays fast and easy. The bridge has a real nice full biting tone. Great for classic rock and blues. The neck is nice and full sounding. Nice sustain with a clear tone. The 2 and 4 positions have a nice quack that is a bit more on the mid range side. The neck has a little thickness to it but is very comfortable to play. A great playing and sounding guitar. The DGT is built to David Grissom's exacting specs. The pickups are modeled after the pickups in his Gibson ES-335 and they sound incredible. Great for blues and classic rock tones. Very full and clear. I found it easy to get tones similar to the classic tones Billy Gibbons has on the ZZ Top discs. The coil tap gives you some great single coil tones that works well for country or the biting blues tone of Buddy Guy or Rory Gallagher. The neck has nice big frets and fits well in the hand. I admit I love PRS guitars and this PRS SC-245 is no exception. A beautiful maple 10 top, a comfortable wide fat neck and that "Les Paul" styling makes this a Rock N Roll machine. Plugged into a Mesa Boogie Mark V this guitar sounds amazing. I was able to dial in that Billy Gibbons sound you hear on "Tush" and "Cheap Sunglasses", Jimmy Page's tone on "Heartbreaker" and "Black Dog", all the cool Kiss Ace Frehley licks minus the smoke and by rolling off the tone a bit I got the famous Clapton sound from the Bluesbreakers album. A very defined and balanced sound. By adding more gain to the amp and I was able to nail the more modern sound of players like Slash, Zakk Wylde and Mark Tremonti. Welcome to the Jungle Baby!
