Much like its namesake, this PRS Santana model radiates a “shaman-like” vibe that truly feels like it could connect the human and spirit worlds with its tone. No kidding, one look at its mesmerizing flame ‘burst top, inlaid purfling strips and rosewood headstock face complete with mystic “Om” symbol and you’ll feel the spiritual power emanating from this guitar.

Plug in and the Santana pickups fill the room with a full, warm and powerful tone that commands your attention. Drive the neck pickup a little and feel the growl and sustain pour out of this guitar. In the middle position, Blues and Blues/Rock are king with a focus on the low mids that just sings when pushed. Flip over to the bridge pickup to get a snappy and full, but not overly bright, tone that really shines with overdrive. Add in a little delay and you’ll be nailing Santana-approved Rock riffs all night long. And speaking of riffs, the Pattern shape neck gives you plenty of ground to really dig in and bend those notes to the heavens and back while playing easy and fast for lightning runs when you need ‘em. This is a magnificently appointed guitar with tone to match that begs to be driven. And though capable of many styles, its tone leans toward Rock, Blues and World styles as would be expected. So don’t be surprised if you suddenly feel connected to another dimension when you pick up this guitar. After all, it is a Santana.
