Ok, I need you to imagine some funk-a-licious wah with tight bass lines in your head. Got it? Good – here we go … “They say this cat Shaft is a bad mother - Shut your mouth - But I'm talkin' 'bout Shaft - Then we can dig it. He's a complicated man, but no one understands him but his woman.” Yea, John Shaft – bad mother. When I look at this PRS Custom 24 Ten Top I get that same impression.

With its bad-a** quilted maple top oozing style under a dark, charcoal burst finish, ain’t nobody gonna mess with this cat. And talk about moves – the Pattern Thin neck on this guitar will have you making fast and furious moves all over the board like nobody’s business! But cool style ain’t nothin’ without attitude, right?

Well lemme tell you, this sucker’s got attitude to burn thanks to the PRS 59/09 pickups that throw down a brighter voice with singing sustain. The neck pickup is full and articulate, but it likes to get real low down and dirty too – you know what I mean. Position 4 loads up on the mids to help you lay down some serious Roadhouse-style Blues. In the middle you’ll get a full, round tone with good mid presence – perfect for Blues and Country, while Position 2 nails that fat quack you need to get downright funky (still got that wah sound in your head?). Drop down to the bridge spot for a bright, solid sounding clean attack that drives nicely into hard rock territory. This is one seriously killer guitar in look, feel and tone. If you want to rule the stage with the baddest mutha guitar you can find, then shut your mouth, get in here and grab this Custom 24. You dig?
