I have only one itching desire, let me stand next to your fire!” Fire? This PRS Custom 24 is a freakin’ inferno – just look at the flames licking out of this Quilted Ten Top in Amber Black!

And the top isn’t the only thing roaring on this guitar - the 59/09 pickups flat out ignite your sound from the first note. With a little brighter but very full tone, the neck pickup sings with clean articulation and crackles with angry protest when pushed. Position 4 ranges from a mid-heavy Country / Blues tone to downright nasty crunch with a cutting bite. In the middle the tone becomes full, round and glowing (very nice to sit by with a glass of wine in the evening) and delivers excellent overdriven tones for Rock and Blues. Position 2 infuses more upper mids when you need to get popping while lending a wicked snarl when you poke it with some drive. The bridge is bright yet warm, full and firm – perfect for modern Country on into hard driving Rock. And the Pattern Thin neck is no log, but rather a rock solid, fast and easy playing slice of Mahogany that’s smooth enough for the quickest licks but meaty enough for really digging in when you need to. This guitar not only looks like a raging fire, it plays like one too! From glowing, warm chords to hot, raging solos, this one’s got you covered. So pull up a chair and warm your hands on this fiery PRS.
