The Mesa Boogie Transatlantic TA-30 is the latest entry in the line of smaller Mesa Boogie amps and this thing rocks. Great selection of tones from ultra clean to slightly overdriven to a real nice gain similar to early Marshall amps. Doesn't have that high gain Rectifier tone but is perfect for classic rock, blues, jazz and country tones. A great little amp for the money. Stop in and try it out.

Here is one of the coolest amps to have hit the market in a long time. It might be the size of a lunch box but boy does it pack a wallop. Switchable between 5, 15 and 25 watts plus 2 independent channels with 5 style modes gives this amp a ton of tonal variations: clean country tones to over the top rock tones. Channel 1 in the normal mode gives you a very clean tone with good headroom. I had it set at 25 watts and it wasn't until around 1 o'clock before I started to hear any overdrive. In the top boost mode the amp moved into a very cool classic rock / blues tone voiced like a VOX AC-30. Channel 2 has some serious gain and you can go from a nice marshal plexi tone to the super thick rectifier tone Boogie is known for. Plenty loud enough for most clubs and small venues not to mention you can't be the portability. Stop in and try it out.
