This Guitar Ships FREE in the USA

I’m convinced this guitar is the “evil twin” to serial number R58028. While identical on the outside, there’s something different about this Fender® Custom Shop ‘60 Stratocaster Relic in Fiesta Red with Matching Headstock. Funky like its twin sister? Yes. Excellent tone, playability and a cool, retro thin nitro finish? Check. Slightly worn, large “C” neck that feels full and meaty and allows for great chording and bending? Roger. Fender 60’s pickups that sing, sting and bite? Yup. Hmmm, I just can’t put my finger on what’s different between these two. Unless … that’s it! This one has a bit of a darker side to her. Just as funky as her sister, this guitar has a little wilder side that wants to jump out and throw down in the vein of the boogie blues halls of the 50’s.

The neck pickup gives off a warm tone that’s as fat as her sister but sounds a bit meaner when pushed. Both position 4 and the middle slot roll in a good amount of mids that beg to be pushed into boogie territory. Position 2 brings back the Funk with a nasal quack that drives beautifully, while the bridge pickup retains the same mildly bright twang as her sister – perfect for Country and Rock. Like all identical twins, one always has a darker side and this guitar isn’t afraid to show it. While her sister favors all things Funk, this little vixen wants to shake it down on the Blues Boogie side. So if you dig the “funky” sister but have a jones for the “dirty” sister, here’s my advice – get ‘em both. We hate to break up a family.
