It’s never too late to make a name for yourself, and this Fender® Custom Shop ‘56 NOS Stratocaster® in Candy Tangerine could well be the only thing missing in your journey to the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame! But even if you never get enshrined in the hallowed Hall, you’ll still have a lot of fun dreaming about it with this baby in your hands.

The 10/56 “V” shaped all-Maple neck is a bit meaty but plays with ease, and the 6105 frets allow for huge bends in the midst of your meanest blues licks. A set of locking Sperzel tuners keeps things tight and in tune and makes string changes so much easier – and you know you ain’t playing hard enough if you don’t break at least one string, right?

The ’69 pickups in the neck and middle positions are clear as a bell with enough bite and growl for the meanest Blues solo, but clean up nicely for mellow Jazz chording and runs. A little manipulation of the tone and volume controls can coax a throaty Rock tone out of the 4 Position when you need it, too. The Texas Special pickup in the bridge provides a nice, biting yet crisp clean sound that works great for Country and can get downright nasty when pushed.

So make ‘em all stand up and take notice when you show up with this sweet ’56 throwback. And who knows, your spot in the pantheon of great players may be closer than you think.
